Raya (Eid) is coming August? July? Inda lama lagilah ah..Hehe. So I wonder have you made your baju yet? Well, I haven't though I already have my fabrics (thanks to my mother and China) and I think I'm just going to go with simple wearable cuts/fashion/styles. Because I find it impossible to add in ideas for my baju with the wild prints and the kind of fabric mother got me so..Yeah. But I do have ideas though! Colours I actually wanted, the feel I wanted to have when I wear the baju and some fine detailed ideas kept lock in my mind just in case I'm really going to use them. Hehe!

So these colours are what I have in mind; a combination of peach and mint, cream and black; and lastly a three combination of red, blue and cream. Basically I was thinking I want a whole different colour scheme this year because I've realise that I always (and I mean ALWAYS) have the main colours of purple and pink. SO, I want a change! These colours are a challenge of course but hopefully I can fulfill them this year? Amin!
As for the style; well I'm not that clear on how but I want doilies! I want the same flow-y fashion I had like last year's, I want lace, I want block colours and I want boho chic!
Honestly I don't know truck what boho chic is but I want it. Lol! I feel that boho chic is free spirited (the style, the hair), simple, fresh and an all beige.creamy colour themed life. And most of all, the body and the clothes is so..flow-y! So I want that in my Raya clothes (if that is even possible! Lol!). I want to feel that I am comfortable hence 'free-spirited' and I want to look like my clothes just flows with my body~ Whee~ Lol!

So yeah, that's my idea.

We Bruneians are accustomed to go and get new clothes to be made for Raya. Store bought are a seldom thing because well, that's just the way it is. We buy fabrics from fabric stores (in and out of Brunei), we send them to tailoring shops and asked them to make the clothes according to our requests and style.

I personally think ALL Bruneian women should put in 'Fashion Designer' into their resume. Why? Because every year we always think of new designs to produce; we think day and night how to make ours new and original; and we even think of how on earth can we possibly outdo our last year's clothes. They're always customised only for each and one of us. No 2 are the same!

So yeah,
