KL Haul
5:42:00 pm
Okay to be honest, I don't shop much in Brunei hence explains why I don't really have those monthly hauls kind of posts. I mostly shop when I'm on my holiday and those stuff I buy (clothes and shoes mostly) can last me a year or two. Not much of a fashion shopperlah ah saya ani I think. I mostly buy what's pretty practical.
Why just shop luar negeri? You might think 'Ihh ambung jua inda mau bali di Brunei! Ihh kambang ihh yelah kami tau apa jua barang Brunei ani..' Blabla and etc! No okay?! I don't think like that! Well for one thing I don't really like having the same things as others and well, what person doesn't kan? And other than that, the things I buy sometimes are cheaper or same priced but with better quality. Like, it gets on my nerves when a t-shirt costs around BND25 while at the meantime Thailand has those kinds of shirts selling at BND4 saja. So yeah I prefer buying lots of those shirts and it can last me a year or two. Bargain jua tu. Right?
Well other than that, kan if mau belayar it means you have the money or have collected enough kan? So why not buy diluar saja? Easy.

When I shop it's usually for clothes and shoes. Not much on bags since I'll keep using one bag that I like until it's all tattered though I do buy one when it's really love at first sight. Hehe rambling banar alai ani~
So these Jelly Bunny kind of shoes are like the rage in Brunei these past months and I am one of those fascinated by them. They are simply cute and so..jelly! I love them but here in Brunei if I was not mistaken it costs about BND30? So I bought both with a total of RM74 at Jelly Bunny store KLCC (Floor below ground floor I forgot what's it called) so that's around BND30 for 2 shoes. My thoughts exactly. Hehe.
I never miss out the chance to buy an Ipanema if I could (Had 2 but lost 1 so now I still have 2). So comfy and just my style. I didn't remember the price though. Maybe the same as in Brunei but yeah. I love them. Hehe.
One of the things I aimed to buy when I was in KL. Nike shoes. The price is about the same in Brunei but I think I haven't seen this one in Brunei. Tapi sayang though! Baru pakai 2 weeks already ada lubang! *sobs* I don't know darimana I got but so so sad!! :(
My review on this shoe? Light! Nyaman pakai netball ie. running. But since I am so ganas with my stuff the material they used for the outer layer of the shoe is so delicate for me yatah rusak baru 2 weeks pakai! Sigh. But the colour I chose was baby blue..Well, more like turquoise to be honest and it was so feminine! The shape of the shoe is nice as well and baru 2x pakai sudah ikut shape my kaki and so licak! As in nyaman.
The sundresses I have so far and I still want more! Hehe. The skull print is from H&M and the black one is from Brands Outlet. When I go to KL or KK; I simply love to shop at those kinds of outlet. You know the ones that just sells clothes which are practical but stylish? And at acceptable prices like H&M, Brand Outlet, PDI, FOS, Forever21 and Cotton On. Not only that they are stylish but most of the fabrics are the ones I like; light cotton or chiffon.
These are from Brands Outlet; They always sell these baju where you buy 2 for 69.90RM so thats like BND29 for 2 of the blouses. These blouses I bought are like chiffon but not see through. So light and not hot at all when worn for the day. hehe. My favourite place to shop!
So those are just some of the stuff I bought. Bought others but too malas to take picture. But here are my tips for shopping in KL:
- Put priorities on the things you've been aiming and always make sure you buy them. Because if you don't you're going to regret it when you get back home and you'll be so unhappy since you won't know when are you even going back there again.
- Always check the quality and the price. If you think that with that certain quality it's actually cheaper at KL then buy it! Why not? I mean if you already like it and you know its expensive in Brunei might as well buy that one.
- Always look around first and don't blindly buy them terus; unless they're seriously cheap. Don't buy them straight on your first day especially from shops near your place (hotel). Because if it's near your hotel you can just go down and buy them even on your last day there so go and tengok-tengok dulu! It's not fun to be broke on your last day you know. And it's not fun when you find the same thing in the next store at a cheaper price.
- Haggle. Haggle. Haggle. Especially arah Masjid India. When I buy my shawls there I always haggle and get the cheapest price I can. It always feels so good when you manage to save some money from it.
- Use comfortable shoes and pants. No explanation on this. Just trust me.
- Bring your backpack. To carry your shopping bags. Duhh.
