Okay to be honest, I don't shop much in Brunei hence explains why I don't really have those monthly hauls kind of posts. I mostly shop when I'm on my holiday and those stuff I buy (clothes and shoes mostly) can last me a year or two. Not much of a fashion shopperlah ah saya ani I think. I mostly buy what's pretty practical.
Why just shop luar negeri? You might think 'Ihh ambung jua inda mau bali di Brunei! Ihh kambang ihh yelah kami tau apa jua barang Brunei ani..' Blabla and etc! No okay?! I don't think like that! Well for one thing I don't really like having the same things as others and well, what person doesn't kan? And other than that, the things I buy sometimes are cheaper or same priced but with better quality. Like, it gets on my nerves when a t-shirt costs around BND25 while at the meantime Thailand has those kinds of shirts selling at BND4 saja. So yeah I prefer buying lots of those shirts and it can last me a year or two. Bargain jua tu. Right?
Well other than that, kan if mau belayar it means you have the money or have collected enough kan? So why not buy diluar saja? Easy.
Well other than that, kan if mau belayar it means you have the money or have collected enough kan? So why not buy diluar saja? Easy.
When I shop it's usually for clothes and shoes. Not much on bags since I'll keep using one bag that I like until it's all tattered though I do buy one when it's really love at first sight. Hehe rambling banar alai ani~
So these Jelly Bunny kind of shoes are like the rage in Brunei these past months and I am one of those fascinated by them. They are simply cute and so..jelly! I love them but here in Brunei if I was not mistaken it costs about BND30? So I bought both with a total of RM74 at Jelly Bunny store KLCC (Floor below ground floor I forgot what's it called) so that's around BND30 for 2 shoes. My thoughts exactly. Hehe.
I never miss out the chance to buy an Ipanema if I could (Had 2 but lost 1 so now I still have 2). So comfy and just my style. I didn't remember the price though. Maybe the same as in Brunei but yeah. I love them. Hehe.
One of the things I aimed to buy when I was in KL. Nike shoes. The price is about the same in Brunei but I think I haven't seen this one in Brunei. Tapi sayang though! Baru pakai 2 weeks already ada lubang! *sobs* I don't know darimana I got but so so sad!! :(
My review on this shoe? Light! Nyaman pakai netball ie. running. But since I am so ganas with my stuff the material they used for the outer layer of the shoe is so delicate for me yatah rusak baru 2 weeks pakai! Sigh. But the colour I chose was baby blue..Well, more like turquoise to be honest and it was so feminine! The shape of the shoe is nice as well and baru 2x pakai sudah ikut shape my kaki and so licak! As in nyaman.
The sundresses I have so far and I still want more! Hehe. The skull print is from H&M and the black one is from Brands Outlet. When I go to KL or KK; I simply love to shop at those kinds of outlet. You know the ones that just sells clothes which are practical but stylish? And at acceptable prices like H&M, Brand Outlet, PDI, FOS, Forever21 and Cotton On. Not only that they are stylish but most of the fabrics are the ones I like; light cotton or chiffon.
These are from Brands Outlet; They always sell these baju where you buy 2 for 69.90RM so thats like BND29 for 2 of the blouses. These blouses I bought are like chiffon but not see through. So light and not hot at all when worn for the day. hehe. My favourite place to shop!
So those are just some of the stuff I bought. Bought others but too malas to take picture. But here are my tips for shopping in KL:
- Put priorities on the things you've been aiming and always make sure you buy them. Because if you don't you're going to regret it when you get back home and you'll be so unhappy since you won't know when are you even going back there again.
- Always check the quality and the price. If you think that with that certain quality it's actually cheaper at KL then buy it! Why not? I mean if you already like it and you know its expensive in Brunei might as well buy that one.
- Always look around first and don't blindly buy them terus; unless they're seriously cheap. Don't buy them straight on your first day especially from shops near your place (hotel). Because if it's near your hotel you can just go down and buy them even on your last day there so go and tengok-tengok dulu! It's not fun to be broke on your last day you know. And it's not fun when you find the same thing in the next store at a cheaper price.
- Haggle. Haggle. Haggle. Especially arah Masjid India. When I buy my shawls there I always haggle and get the cheapest price I can. It always feels so good when you manage to save some money from it.
- Use comfortable shoes and pants. No explanation on this. Just trust me.
- Bring your backpack. To carry your shopping bags. Duhh.
2nd Day
So our 2nd last day there we actually overslept for just a bit but ok lah. We went down around 10 to have breakfast at Old Town White Coffee and seriously, I really need to bawa my mum there to have our breakfast next time! Banartah! Cause the times I was there, it's always a problem to decide on where to eat for breakfast and that place I've realised is just so reassuring not to mention easy to go to and just dine in!
We went to KLCC in the afternoon instead and I FINALLY TRIED THE BRIDGE! THAT BRIDGE! The one that connects from Pavilion to KLCC! It took us around 15 - 20 mins to reach each ends and again, it's another way to save transportation budget! It's so nice you know because it's air conditioned in there as well so it was a comfortable journey back and forth.
That's a view of the bridge and again, my bro's face -_-
Pavilion's end of the bridge
So when we arrived at KLCC, we stumbled upon the Aquaria (was it the name? I can't remember) and again as impromptu as M can be, we went in! It was an experience alright! So many fishes I see and so many animals to look at and I was so excited like a bunny!
I'm so bangga with this shot! :P
Face! -_-
After KLCC we just went out that night and just enjoyed the last night we had there! Ngam pulang jua malam minggu sana so it was a sight lah ah. So many heshes (Teehee) and there was life in all the cafes and clubs we passed by.
Last Day
Well, I went all out and bought all the things I really wanted to buy! So I was soo excited and happy masa atulah ah. Hahah..Went to Pavilion, Sungei Wang and Times Square in 1 morning. Ganas udah berabis membali! Then at 4, we just went to KLIA and went around the shops there. Then..Home!
Exhausted lapas jauh jalan-jalan dulur saya shopping. Hee!
At KLIA
Gahh! Face! -__-
The new shoes we bought! Hee! XD
FINALLY I finished posting about my Kuala Lumpur trip! Alhamdulillah, I have to say it was really a fun experience! So many first time things I did; things I wouldn't do if I went there with my parents. For example the bridge and the roller coaster. I finally went there and just went into all the shops I've wanted to go but couldn't; and I ate at some different places alright and was so happy! It was a fun trip and the most fun ever and I hope I can go there with the awesome people I went with next time, InsyaAllah! MAU LAGI POKOKNYA!
Hehe ALRIGHT! Toodles!
OMG BUKAN INDA BATAH KAN MENGUPDATE! SO BANGAS ALREADY! GASP!!! Sorry yeah? I've been busy! Again. -_- Sigh..So anyways,
1st Day
So we started our day with of course, shopping at Masjid India! Hehe. Bruneians (especially the women) just love to shop there especially for fabrics, shawls, tudongs and just simply the malay attire. I specifically went there for the tudongs and I always, always get what I want there with cheaper prices Alhamdulillah! It's cheap you know! And I do advise you to don't just simply buy the ones from the nicer shops cause the ones outside on the streets are cheaper and they offer the same quality and you can haggle all you want. My trip this time offered me with the shawls with higher prices but still bearable lah ah because the quality of the fabric was better this time; so di maafkan.. I still wished it was cheaper! We went there from Bukit Bintang using the rail and I was so sakai cause it has been a long time since I've used them! Banar tah! And seriously, I think I'm always going to use that transportation. Banartah!
Happy sleepy face. Haha!
It's been a long time since I've used the rail there so I was once again, sakai!
Breakfast at Insaf Restaurant at Masjid India area.
Shawls, tudongs and hijabs shopping always makes me happy!
Syah's and my bag carriers. Lol!
Spent just about 3 hours there and that's considered as a short duration already but I was already pening with all the colours and prices given! So cabut larilah before I abis duit sana. Hehe. After, we went to Nando's for lunch and continued shopping to Times Square.
Times Square to me is just..Normal pulang ah just like Sungei Wang but it has an amusement park lah saja bezanya. And I finally get to go and ride a roller coaster there! Never have I plan to go into the amusement park but M talked me into it then there we were riding the roller coaster and just having fun. How do I feel riding it for the first time? It's so SCARY! I don't think I can stomach a ride EVER but it was fun at the same time! Well I wanted to barfed after but it was a good thing that I didn't lah ah pokoknya. But yeah, SCARY!
I have the creepers for nando's (explains the weird pose I have)
That face
Yeay! I hope it is! Hehe!
I'm pretty sure this roller coaster here is nothing compared to the greater coasters outside in this world but seriously, I can't even stomach this one. Sigh.
Keep a look out for this two feet!
And the day didn't end with Times Square. After Times Square, we went out for dinner at Pavilion and sambung juga shopping disana!
Those faces -_-
Ended the day with Starbucks <3
You know, after writing this I realised we really did pack in all of our time and energy to go and not miss anything! Hehe.. it was a fun 1st day and writing this now, I wish I can go there again. Seriously!
That's it for now yeah? Till next time! The soonest! Thank you and toodles!
Maybe you already knew or maybe you don’t and maybe you’re oh so curious where did I go for my trip? Well your curiosity ends here my friend (if you had any)!
I went to KL! Haha!
It was just a short 4 days 3 nights trip really. Went there to just shop and look for suppliers and what not. Suppliers for what you may ask? Haha.. I’ll tell you soon.. Maybe. But yeah, it’s in demand lah ah pokoknya ok? I went there with my brother, M and Syah and Alhamdulillah we had a blast! So fun! I get to have new experiences while I was there them so basically it’s the best KL trip I’ve had so far. Period! Why? Well..
- I didn’t need to carry my heavy shopping bags.
- I didn’t have to carry my backpack and hurt my back.
- There’s always someone (M) to hold my hand when we cross the roads.
- I get to explore the whole part of Bukit Bintang.
- I get to eat wherever I want.
- I get to go wherever I want and just take my time.
- I get to try the connecting bridge from Pavilion to KLCC.
- I get to visit some tourist-ish stops while I was there.
- I get to eat new stuff but sadly didn’t have the chance to take pictures of the food because we always forget due to hunger.
So yeah it was a lot!
1st Night
Well, that night we just settled with our hotel and ate really. TO THIS NEW RESTAURANT! Haha! Well not new in terms of establishment but new in terms of me going to KL. The place is called Kaki Corner and they do western food over there. The price range was around BND6-BND10 for the food while BND3-BND5 for the drinks. Quite cheap for western food and so good! I ordered Salmon Carbonara there instead and okaylah the salmon was big but wrong food to try there lah ah.. But the grills I tried from them was goodlah and M even said it has the best sauce.
Intense reading (sort of. Haha!)
I like this picture! Wished it wasn't blurr! *sobs*
Me and Syah. I HAVE SUCH FAT LEGS! GAHH!
Only managed to take a shot of the menu. When our food came, we just dove right in! Inda lagi tegambar! Hahah..
Remember this face! And when I'm finished talking about KL you will know why!
So that's all for now yes? Next post soon! Hehe!
Toodles,
Assalamualaikum everyone! Long time no see yeah? Hehe..First of, I must apologise for my long absence..I AM SO SORRY!!! I've been busy really and well, while I do go through the internet I instead go there just to read. That's it. All my social webs are ignored and yes, it's really menghairankan lah ah. Especially me! Seriously!
Busy pun pasal alot of stuff to do in the outside world..Nanti tah becerita. Soon. Real soon. Hehe. On my next post.
I just really want you all to know that I'm still alive (ALHAMDULILLAH), well and am not forgetting this blog! Hehe.
Toodles,

Toodles,
So these 2 days I've been busy watching the movies and dramas I got from Bebeh. Somehow I'm starting at the 'crazy cry your eyes out romance' genre and waking up with puffy eyes for the next 3 hours after sleeping for just 3 hours were a sight to behold. Udah tah rounded face, bloated lagi tu! Macam orang sakit saja. Pfft. Hahah, okay I'm not making sense I think. But my point is..Gila. Lama sudah inda liat movies and dramas macam orang addict! I think the last time I did this was in 2010; a marathon of 5 'crazy cry your eyes out romance' movies that made me cry even at the opening. Puffy eyes fest!
And I miss this. Seriously. Hahah and yes I realised I miss alot of old stuff right now. Makes me wonder whether am I on my mid-life crisis phase or what pasal temiss-miss saja ani. Pfft. Hehe.
I mean, I gotta say. I'm those type; the hopeless romantic. I love 'love' cliches. You know:
- Falling in love with someone who's about to die with an incurable disease,
- Accidentally falling in love with the guy you hate,
- Racing your ass off to get to the airport just so you can confess your love to him/her,
- Saving your lover from an aimed bullet to them or an incoming car/truck and ended up dying in their place instead,
- The part where you're lover waits for you his/her life for you to come back,
- The part where the guys just can't help but want to protect you and then realised it's actually love
![]() |
| Love it when Dan put his forehead onto Emma's when he said thanks for helping him for his gay problem. Movie: Easy A |
The list can go on baby! Haha! I love it and seriously I wish some of those cliches happens to me. And yes, seriously I don't think they're bad at all! For example, the guy I loved would confess to me face to face and just pours out his love to me when he hold my arms tight making me stand rooted to where I was...
me: *walks away*
guy: *takes arm to stop me from walking*
me: *pulls away harshly*
guy: *pulls back harshly*
me: Why are you doing this to me?!
guy: Because I love you! Okay? Sayang bah aku kan kau! Kenapakan kau inda nampak atu? I don't want to lose you! Why can't you see me? Why? Apa kurangku? Apa kurangku sama laki-laki atu?! He doesn't appreciate you when I do! Everyday, every freaking day I think about you and you don't even see me. Everyday!
me: *breathlessly kabak-kabak and then in love tia sudah atu*
HEE.
MAU.
When I say I like those kinds of cliches, seriously, I REALLY DO. I mean you know right some girls doesn't like it when you go all in and get roses, chocolates; dedicates a song to you, puts you in his arms when you're embarrassed and such; I'm simply not that kind of girl. I AM THOSE CLICHE GIRLS!
And seriously the movies and dramas I'm watching right now makes me love them more!
I do have my limits though; I can't bare it if it's a public display. I like it when the cliche is only between them two like bike riding, laughing, crying..and especially ada special thing/song/code/time/weather where only the two knows the meaning and understands it. Atu I love berabis! Public display..No no!
Hmm..And for now..What do I wish in my cliche list?
- I wish for a midnight birthday cake surprise with roses and candles for my birthday
- I wish that my man would always have this feeling of wanting to protect me and would always mind if I'm hurt or not
- I wish for him to always want to hold my hands first without me realising it
- I wish he'd race to the airport to get to me and say that he loves me
- I wish he'd put himself between me and an incoming water balloon
- I wish he'd be there whenever I feel unsafe or insecure or sad without me telling him or realising it. Macam kira dalam movie lah ah inda semana-mana time sedih ada tia ia timbul. HEHE
- I wish he'd cook for me a meal.. Or two.
SO I AM GOING ON A TRIP! Counting the days from now of course and I AM JUST SO EXCITED! Curious where I'll be going? Hehe..Then keep guessing! I don't want to say where, I'll just show you where when I'm back alright? Don't you worry!
The last time I went there was last year I think. I miss going there so much so I am just so thankful to get the chance and go there again Alhamdulillah! So many things I want to do and get but the main thing is I want to relax and have fun with some new sceneries and malls! Eat the food I can't get here in Brunei and just jalan-jalan. Hehe. InsyaAllah.
So about my training..Hehe honestly I've only trained twice in these 2 weeks. Mainly because I'm malas because I keep thinking it's better that I trained after I'm back from my trip and well, I just malas bangun dari katil as I'm always lying on my bed around 3pm. But Alhamdulillah with both those training sessions I did get more endurance on my running. Still slow of course but for now I am just focusing on my distance. Not the time yet.
So as you can see, on my first week I can only jogged for 3km in 25mins non-stop. I have to say, I was quite shocked that I reached my finish line on my 3rd km because usually I'd feel like I'd wanna faint when I run for the 3rd km. I even had some more energy left to run actually but I stopped myself because I was just so malas. Haha. But, I guess it's because of the Netball sessions I had before.
My run yesterday was amazing! Seen from the picture above I jogged for 5.14km in around 47mins. I actually just jogged 4km non stop tadi. But nonetheless, I am so happy! Hehe..Jogged for 4km then walked for the last km? That was an improvement alright! I had more energy to run for the 4th km and I was so excited! So that means on my next training, I need to improve more on my stamina so I can run that 5km non stop saja lagi. Fuhh..Long way to go..Tapi inda apa, it's just the beginning.
Hmm..Okaylah the run atu InsyaAllah boleh, Amin! Alhamdulillah my stamina is getting better but what I'm concerned with as well is the food I'm putting into my body. I wish there's a website or anything that teaches us to eat healthy Bruneian style. Or Asian style pun good enough. I really do. Because when I checked on the internet for information on healthy eating..It always contains food that is just either something you can't really find in Brunei easily, it's expensive, it's not fit for our tastebuds or there's no alternatives information on healthy food provided or offered. I do try to eat healthy when I cook at home (at home saja but when I'm out makan macam orang gila -_-); for one thing I try to use the spices/herbs I have in the kitchen; I try to avoid using ajinamoto and just focus on adding in alot of the onions and shallots instead. I'm still using fatty cooking oil but I use less of it in my cooking. But though I do this, I still don't know if I'm doing the right thing or not. Even if I can change my cooking oil with olive oil or canola oil; I gotta admit they are expensive and I don't think I can tahan bali a $60 priced olive oil twice a month? Fuhh no no! So yeah, I just wish.
Hmm, okay I'm done rambling. Hehe.
Toodles!
