Golf Throwback

I love that word. Throwback; In definition it means reminiscing the old days. Like when you come across an old song you used to listen to when you're younger, old pictures..just basically..old. Alot of stuff seem to remind me of my youth this year and it made me realise that maybe I'm thinking about them alot  because I feel my age already? I mean last year I felt like I was still 18 believe it or not but now, I feel..20. Hahah..Far from my real age but hey it's bigger number!

The thing that made me think of my youth most are the late 90's and early 2000 songs. They kept playing everywhere I go these days; be it at restaurants, radios and even the TV. I get excited listening to them! It reminded my of my school days, the times I danced to Spice Girls and Britney; and not to mention Nsync! Man, I miss those times. Not my acne mind you! Hehe. Then there's the part where most of my favourite movies like Mean Girls, Princess Diaries, Harry Potter..are 10 years already! I mean seriously? 10 years? Damn! SO OLD!

So as I mentioned my parents are back from their Hong Kong/China trip. Mum bought me alot of stuff and I couldn't be more happier! Bags, clothes, fabric and shawls! Thanks mum! And as you can see I have not clear up the things bought and yes that is what the pile looks right now. I'll just clear it up tomorrow..Hehe.

Went to the driving range with the family as well tonight practising my swing. I just started learning golf a month ago from my dad so I'm still at the 'getting to know your swing' stage. Of course I have ALOT  to improve on and learn (1 month somehow has not make things better) so I just hope I get better as soon as possible. I actually had tried it before when I was 16? But at that time my interest was not that much as I just started Netball. The sudden interest now is also because of Netball funny enough because I realised my only sport is Netball, that's it. So I want to learn and have interest on more sports so to speak. Moreover, I have my dad (one of the best players for his handicap in the field) so he can just teach me and I get to spend more time with him. I gotta say like it so far, the feel of it when I just swing down the club and see my ball flying (54% of the time) and the distance it goes to. My dad keeps stressing me to not think of strength just yet and focus on my swing but I simply can't help it! Hehe.

 Toodles!
