InteresThings #3

Hello there and now it's this week's InteresThings! This week's InteresThings would be on the music! For a bit. Hehe. See, I LOVE to just discover a mix of songs and I think the easiest way is through Youtube. Back in the days, I usually look music up on MSN Search but now they're not that updated anymore so yeah, here's what I've caught up on so far!
A three sisters band (Alana, Danielle and Este Haim) formed in 2006 in California. They just released their EP album last year on 2012. Their songs sounds like an oldie and you'd be shocked when you listen to it because well it seriously sounds like your 70's hippie kinda thing but modern at the same time. AND THEY'RE MY AGE! THEY'RE MAKING AMAZING MUSIC AND I'M HERE IN MY OLD MUSTY ROOM DOING PRACTICALLY NOTHING AND JUST BLOGGING ABOUT THEM! Fuhh..Hehe. Video up above is called 'Falling' and 'Don't Save Me' is a keeper as well! I love it! Sounds old but you can sense the modern in it and so different! I mean, I know there are alot of girl bands like them but Haim don't make me feel sleepy and that gets a point from me!
The Looks / Hawklion
Originated from Dublin, Ireland; they're basically close friends who loves music and just naturally created a band. I prefer their styles when they still call themselves The Looks compared to Hawklion just for the record. The Looks (if I may describe them) sounds like a very noisy and funny Arctic Monkeys and I LOVE ANYTHING THAT CAN RELATE TO ARCTIC MONKEYS! Video above is called 'Romeo' and 'Enemies' is a fun music at as well. As for Hawklion, they kind of sound like..Keane, Coldplay (the Mylo Xyloto album) and Mew? I'm not against that kind of music but I just prefer the 'Arctic Monkeys kind' so if you like those kind of music (the Keane, Mylo Xyloto and Mew kind) then look them up! HAWKLION!
Bastille; an English band from London, England formed in 2010. Well, they are good I give you that but sadly not my taste. And I emphasize, THEY ARE GOOD. So try them out and explore them! Just because I said they're not my taste doesn't mean you won't like them as well! The only song I like from them is the cover they made of What Would You do from High City.
Waylayers
The vocalists sounds like Chris Martin. Seriously. If you'd just listen to this randomly you'd think it's Chris Martin singing in Snow Patrol with Keane's lyrics. The singer looks like Tom Chaplin in a way and that's the funny part. Hehe. I LOVE THEM! 'Hear No Lies'! LISTEN!
Alright, those are my finds that caught me by my senses and I hope you'd like them!
Toodles!
