A 'Spectacle' Day
3:23:00 pm
I am so grateful to have such friends that I just seem to click with. We've been together for a long time and I wouldn't want it in any other way. From form 1 and now we still can laugh and just be with each other, for each other and I hope sampai we all ada anak-anak pun masih sama-sama play netball, hang out, makan and be just like we are now, InsyaAllah. Amin. This picture marks the day we three finally bejumpa! So long we didn't get to be together like this and I was, well am so happy even it was just for a bit. Had breakfast at Countrypatch with them yesterday before Bini goes back to UK that day. All the best daling! Hope you finish your dissertation with quality. Heheh..
So yesterday I think would have to be one of the good days I've had. I get to wake up early in the morning, have breakfast, stumble upon the UBD art exhibition, complete my hecas form, hang with friends I love and play Netball! Alhamdulillah.. Sadly, my pictures I took with my camera; the ones I was so psyched to show you guys literally broke! The pixels got jagged up and then poof! Gone! Sedih saya. Sigh.
Syah and I stumbled upon the Spectacle Art Exhibition while I was sending my HECAS form and when I entered I was really amazed. The exhibition literally took my breath away and trust me on this! Seriously I thought it was just going to be a number of small framed paintings on display but I was so wrong! When I went in I just had to lift my head up to see them! I just have to applaud the UBD graduates for making such awesome pieces and open my eyes to how awesome Brunei artists are! My favourite pieces would have to be (forgive me for forgetting their names and artists!) the portraits that were made with layers of wire sheets, the neon art piece, the zero capitalism piece (my favourite!), the domino effect piece and the unseen beauty! So if you guys have the time, go there! The exhibition started yesterday (10th April) at the Chancellor Hall but I don't remember until when but if you have the chance, do go and see! Hahah..Okay, yes I am excited. And I am so so sad that I don't have pictures to show you guys *sobs*.
And for lunch, we went to Depot located at Kiarong same building with Nur Wanita. I love the design for one thing, they have the recycled kind of theme thing so that was cool. The restaurant serves mainly German cuisine but sadly I didn't taste any as I just ordered beef burger. I initially wanted to taste the bratwurst but they were unavailable so yeah, hampa saya. But I have to say, the burger I had was good, the coleslaw nyaman and not even like KFC; and my fries were crispy! Syah's Ceasar Salad was so good as well. I've tried a number of salads and theirs are great. Why you may ask? What's the difference? Well for one thing the veggies were fresh. Titik. That's all.
One side of Depot.
My burger as you can see. Hehe.
And later that night, I played Netball! Wee..! Hehe! Nothing can take me away from Netball, even golf. I love that sport. Played with my seniors and some other team last night. No pictures taken because I was busy running around. Hehe!
M get well soon okay? You make me worried. So worried and you don't contact me as much. Makes me sad and frustrated. Sigh.
Toodles,
